I never liked Frieza until I watched the original Japanese version and Kai. The Funi dub destroyed Frieza. :P

But in the original Japanese and Kai, he was a great villain - definitely the best. Unstoppable. No regeneration. An awesome character. Pretty much the only truly evil, scary villain in DBZ.

I think Frieza was the base for both Cell and Buu, Cell had his politeness and Buu had his destructiveness. All in all, I think Frieza's better than the latter two.

Frieza is the best villain throughout the entire series. For many reasons as such has his own organization which is involved with doing something with planets, has the best bodyguards and men (Zarbon, Dodoria, Cui, Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz and entire Ginyu Force).

I admire him for his fighting intelligence as demonstrated in the Frieza Saga against Son Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Kuririn and of course Son Goku. And various transformations and percentages power ups. Also using DNA/Cells for Cell, for someonw else to use Frieza's abilities and techniques. IMO Frieza and Cell were the best villains by far.

Freeza in the original Japanese anime is a superb villain, the best villain in anime history IMO.

Although he was garbage in the Dub.

I like Frieza.. Even in the funi dub i still liked him despite the voice :p. Cell i never took seriously. I mean it was supposed to end with Frieza, plus, despite him being weak compared to future sagas he was still the origional galactic threat. The one who helped Goku become a fluffin super saiyan. And his fighting style was unique from others and he POUNDED Goku and Vegeta after numerous zenkais and Piccolo after a huge powerup. I like Frieza :3

I also like Frieza because of the utterly hopeless situations he put the fighters in.

1) He pretty much annihilated Piccolo, Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta. Just when you thought that there might be some way that they could pull through and defeat him, he whipped out another, more powerful transformation. It left you with a feeling of dread, especially when he tortured Krillin and Vegeta and mercilessly killed Dende.

2) Not even Goku, the most powerful warrior, could defeat him. Sure, things looked good in the beginning, but Frieza soon had him screaming just like the rest. That was even more disheartening. Only when Goku reached the peak of his anger and frustration did he finally have the power to stop Frieza. It was the icing on the cake. :p

Frieza was one bad guy. Merciless, brutal. You don't see that with Cell. He just doesn't give you that same feeling of hopelessness. Goku could stand up to him easily enough, or so it seemed to us, and Gohan wiped the floor with him. You saw Piccolo have a chance with him in Imperfect form, and Vegeta had him beaten when he was Semi-Perfect, but he never really destroyed anyone like Frieza did. At least, not in the same way.

Buu destroyed everyone on earth, but it just didn't have the same impact for me. -_-

I love Freeza so much. So calculating, so rich in arrogance and well voiced by Ryuusei Nakao and Chris Ayres. NO enemy can surpass this aristocratic alien.

Yeah, a shame they kind of turned him into a Comic Relief character in all his future appearances (comic relief, or as i like to call it, bitchified) :(
